While exploring the lively aisles of ProWine Mumbai, we met Trevor Smith from Big Barrel. He introduced us to a brand that instantly stood out, Ginger Fusion. What began as a friendly introduction soon turned into one of the most refreshing moments of the event.

Ginger Fusion comes from Hawke’s Bay Brewing Company, a New Zealand brewery that has been crafting quality beverages since the mid nineties. The brewery is known for its traditional techniques, locally sourced ingredients, and a commitment to honest and flavour driven brewing. Their location in the orchards of Hawke’s Bay inspires many of their creations, and Ginger Fusion is one of their signature offerings.

We tasted their range, including Ginger Fusion and the cheerful Peach Bomb. Each sip felt clean, bright, and thoughtfully made. The ginger beer carried a warm and zesty character, lifted by mandarin that gave it a smooth citrus finish. The peach variant offered a gentle golden fruitiness that lingered beautifully.

What made this encounter memorable was the sense of authenticity behind the brand. The brewery is family owned, and every product reflects a balance of tradition and fresh ideas. In a hall full of global names, Ginger Fusion carried a unique charm that was easy to appreciate.
